Nov 28   We have a new Champion - Ch. Sajan's Eicho!
Nov 1   Jimmy Choo earned his BMDCA Versatility Award and is now officially CH Sajan's Adorable Jimmy Choo CGC, NDD, CD, ODD, VCD1. Great job Jimmy and Elizabeth!
July 5   I returned from an exciting trip to Estonia with my heart stealer, Fortuneia Opportunity Knox v Sajan.
June 18   Jimmy Choo x Gracie puppies arrived with 4M/4F.
May 28   Basil kids out of Klaere and Gracie did well again at the TRBMDC Regional Specialty.
  • In Sweeps 9-12 class: Falina was 1st and Stella was 2nd with Falina taking Best in Sweeps.
  • In Regular classes: Eicho was 2nd in BBE, Falilna was 1st and Stella was 2nd in 9-12 mos, and Edith was the shining start of the day going 1st in BBE, then WB, and then BOW and BBBE for a 5 pt. major win.
  • Basil was 1st in Stud Dog with Edith and Fern.
  • Klaere was 1st in Brood Bitch with Falina and Stella.
April 23 & 24   Eicho was a consistant 2nd in BBE.
April 9   Violet and the VV litter turned 8 yrs old.
April 4   The BBB litter turned 5 yrs old.
April 3   Jimmy Choo and his brother turned 5 yrs old.
Mar 18   Basil kids out of Klaere and Gracie once again did well, this time at the M-DBMDC Regional Specialty.
  • In Regular classes: Falina was 1st and Stella was 2nd in 6-9, Edith was 1st in BBE and RWB, and Basil was Select for his first points towards his Grand Champion title.
Mar 8   Xinko and the XX litter turned 7 yrs old.
Feb 18 & 19   Basil kids out of Klaere and Gracie had a great weekend at the PVBMDC Regional Specialty.
  • Sweeps 6-9 mos: Sindi's Flynn was 4th and Falina was 3rd.
  • In Regular classes: Flynn was 4th in 6-9,
    Eicho was 4th in BBE, Kim's Stella was 3rd in 6-9, and Edith was 2nd in BBE.
  • On Sunday Flynn was 4th in 6-9, Stella was 1st and Falina was 4th in 6-9, and Edith was 4th in BBE.

2010

Nov 21   Klaere was bred to Xinko with puppies due Jan 21, 2011.
Nov 20   Dirk went to his forever home in NC.
Oct 28   Basil was bred to Chaverah's Keeping The Faith with puppies due Nov 30, 2010.
Nov 1   Eicho rec'd OFA Prelim results of Hips - Excellent,
Elbows - Clear and Edith rec'd Hips - Good, Elbows - Clear
Oct 30   CH Sajan's Omarteli (Feb. 16, 1999 - Oct. 30, 2010) Omar had good appetite until the evening meal the night before when hedidn't finish dinner. Good reason to believe it was his heart.  He was a great dog and will be missed.
Oct 18   Xinko congratulates his daughter Justy on her new Championship title.
Oct 16   Gracie was WB for another point from the Open class.
Oct 10   We enjoyed the Watchung Regional with Eicho and Edith placing 2nd in their Sweeps classes.  Eicho was 1st in BBE, Edith was 2nd in BBE, Basil took home an AOM and 1st in Stud Dog.  Basil and Eicho were the only Brace which was fun to watch.  Sindi Leo expertly
handled Basil and my Brace team.  All this fun was under Breeder Judge Libby Kesner.
Oct 2-3   Eicho won back to back 4 Pt Majors from the BBE class at the Long Branch show in VA!  Xinko's daughter Justy was WB for a major on Saturday.
Sep 17   Nancy said her final good-by to her heart dog Sajan's Peachtree Kiele, 11 ys 7 mos old.
Aug 29   Special congratulations to Elizabeth on her new Champion Sajan's Adorable Jimmy Choo. He finished in grand style with a 4 pt. Major!
Jun 18   Klaere has 7 puppies. 3M, 4F
Jun 17   Happy 9th Birthday to Sybil
May 23   Gracie won her first point towards her championship by going BOB from the Open Class.
May 22   Eicho won his first point towards his championship by winning WD, BOS.
May 11   Edith and Eicho placed 2nd and 3rd in their Futurity classes at the BMDCA National Specialty.  Thank you Dawn Cox!
April 17    Klaere bred to Basil with litter due June 16-18, 2010.
April 9    Happy 7th Birthday to Violet and all the VV Litter.
Apr 4   Happy 4th Birthday to the BBB Littermates.
Apr 3   Happy 4th Birthday to the AAA Littermates.
Apr 1   Happy 3rd Birthday to my Basil
Mar 20   Eicho placed 2nd in the 6-9 Puppy Class in Sweeps (Sindi Leo) and 3rd in regular classes under Breeder Judge Tom Brown.
Mar 8   Happy 6th Birthday to my Xinko and littermates Morgan and Charlie.
Feb 27   Eicho rec'd a Group 4 at the Mason Dixon Kennel Club Match.
Feb 16   Happy 11th Birthday to my Omar.
Feb 11   Happy 3rd Birthday to the CCC Litter
Jan 26   Happy 5th Birthday to the ZZ Littermates
Jan 21   Edith placed 3rd in the 6-9 Puppy Class under Breeder Judge Denise Dean at her first show.
Jan 20   Eicho placed 3rd in the 6-9 Puppy Class at his first show and Klaere placed 4th in the Open Class under Breeder Judge Maija Heinila (Norway).
Jan 13   Happy 3rd Birthday to Gracie.
Jan 7   Happy 5th Birthday to the YY Littermates.

Nov 27   Ruby v Sajan (June 20, 2000 - November 27,2009)  Ruby was loved
by Tony, Cathy,and their Daughter.  As Tony said to me today, She was
our dear loyal and trusted friend who was intended to be the companion
my daughter grew up with, but became a daughter and sister as well.
Oct 10   Green Boy from the EEE litter went to his home in Maine.
Oct 4   Basil finished his Championship in grand style going Best of Winners at the Watchung BMDC Regional for a 5 pt major.  He also won a 3 pt major at the Potomac Valley BMDC supported entry in July and a 4 pt major under Breeder Judge Libby Kesner at the Mason Dixon BMDC supported entry in August. 

Sybil (8 yrs old) also had a good showing going Best Oppposite Sex in Veteran Sweeps,

Dirk was 2nd place in both his Sweeps and 9-12 Puppy Class.
Aug 7   EEE litter arrives with 2M / 3F.

  Dec 30   My sweet Rachel passed away today.

  Dec 12   Gracie litter due Jan 2, 2009.
  Nov 22   Just 2 weeks after going to her new home, Wista is bringing kisses and smiles to nursing home residents.
  Nov 2   Gracie has been bred to Xinko, expecting Jan 2, 2009.
  Oct 17   Happy 1st Birthday to my Klaere.
  Aug 2   Happy 5th Birthday to the WW Litter, especially my sweetie, Wista.
  Jun 20   Happy 8th Birthday to Rachel and her RR Littermate sisters.
  Jun 17   Happy 7th Birthday to my Sybil and her sisters.
  May 5   Jay and Alissa welcome their new son, Alok. It would appear that Lilah likes her new brother. [see pics]
  Apr 4   Happy 2nd Birthday to the BBB Littermates.

  Apr 1   Happy 1st Birthday to my Basil.
  Mar 15   Chad has gone to live with his new family and is now loved and spoiled in New Jersey.
  Mar 15   Mason Dixon Bernese Mountain Dog Club held their first Regional Specialty, Basil was 2nd   in Sweeps 9-12 Months and 1st in 9-12 Month Class, Chad was 1st in Sweeps 12-15 months and 2nd   in Bred-By Exhibitor Class.
  Mar 8   Special congratulations to Basil's breeder, Shandy, on her great showing at Crufts. Kernow dogs placed 1st in the Special Junior Dog class and 2nd   in the Mid Limit Dog class. Females owned/bred by  Kernow placed VHC in the Post Graduate class and Limit Bitch class.  Congratulations are also due to the owner of Basil's sire for his 3rd place in the Limit Dog class.
  Mar 8   Happy 4th Birthday to the XX Litter, Morgan (IN), Charlie (MD), and my Xinko.
  Feb 23-24   Chad was 1st in the 12-15 Month Class in Sweepstakes and 4th in the Bred By Exhibitor Class at the Potomac Valley Bernese Mountain Dog Club Regional Specialty.
  Feb 19   Happy 9th Birthday to the PP Littermates.  Two of these puppies passed this year and my thoughts are with them and their owners.
  Feb 18   A very special Happy 12th Birthday to Garrett from the BB Litter. 
  Feb 16   Happy 9th Birthday my Omar and his brother Oskar and the other OO Littermates.
  Feb 14   Happy 10th Birthday to the Special Valentines in the KK Litter.
  Feb 11   Happy 1st Birthday to my Chad and the other CCC LIttermates.
  Jan 26   Happy 3rd Birthday to the ZZ Littermates.
  Jan 13   Happy 1st Birthday to my Gracie and her littermates around the world.
  Jan 7   Happy 3rd Birthday to the YY Littermates.

  Nov 24   Balina went to her new home in MA.
  Nov 11   Curt went to live in his forever home in New Jersey.  Look for Curt in the show ring with his new owners in the future.  Spencer also went to live with his new best friend in Pennsylvania.
  Oct 27   Basil's second show resulted in Winners Dog for his first point from the 6-9 Puppy Class.
  Oct 6-7   Basil's 1st show brought home ribbons for 1st in 6-9 Puppy Class for both Sweepstakes and Regular clases at just 6 mos.
  Sep 23   Attended Shawnee Kennel Club All Breed Match:
  • Basil was 1st in 3-6 Puppy Dog, Best Of Breed Puppy, and Group 2
  • Curt was 1st and Chad was 2nd in 6-9 Puppy Dog
  • Gracie was 1st in 6-9 Puppy Bitch and BOS to BOBP
  • Special Congratulations to Val on Justy's Group 1 at the Baltimore County Kennel Club All Breed Match.
  Sep 22   Attended Mason Dixon BMDC Sanctioned Match with a nice showing:
  • Basil was 1st in 3-6 Puppy Dog and Best Puppy In Match
  • Chad was 1st and Curt was 2nd in 6-9 Puppy Dog
  • Gracie was 1st in 6-9 Puppy Bitch and BOS to BPIM
  Sep 15   Attended Potomac Valley BMDC Sanctioned Match with a nice showing. This was the first time at an event for all these puppies!
  • Basil was 1st in 3-6 Puppy Dog
  • Chad was 1st and Curt was 3rd in 6-9 Puppy Dog
  • Gracie was 1st in 6-9 Puppy Bitch
  • Chad was Best Opposite Sex to Best Puppy In Match (Justy) who is a Xinko daughter from Tart's litter from the 3-6 Puppy Bitch class
  • A Xinko son was also 3rd in 3-6 Puppy Dog
  Jul  8   Xinko took Best of Breed today at a supported entry under Breeder Judge Tom Brown!
  Jun 11   What an exciting day! Xinko's first litter was born 3M/1F out of Owl Branch Tart of Darkness. Contact Valerie Chase for more information. And, Basil arrived from England. His breeder sent me a very special boy, "thank you"!
  Mar 30   Gracie vom Gipfelfeuer arrived from Belgium, thank you Jeroen for this sweet, outgoing girl.
